3. Thickness

5. Micrometer
Micrometer is a kind of precision measuring tool, also known as spiral micrometer. The accuracy is higher than the vernier caliper, the measurement accuracy can reach 0.01mm, and it is more sensitive. Multi-purpose micrometer measurement when measuring parts with high machining accuracy. There are two kinds of micrometers: inner micrometer and outer micrometer. 6. Dial indicator
The dial indicator is a gear-driven micrometer measuring tool with measuring accuracy of 0.01mm. It is usually used together with the dial indicator and the dial indicator frame to perform a variety of measuring work, such as measuring bearing bending, yaw, gear clearance, parallelism and plane state.
The structure of the dial indicator
The dial indicator commonly used in automobile maintenance is generally equipped with two dials in size, and the long needle of the large dial is used to read the displacement below 1mm; The short needle on the small dial is used to read the displacement above 1mm. When the measuring head moves 1mm, the long needle turns one week and the short needle moves one space. 7. Plastic gap gauge
The plastic clearance measuring strip is a special plastic strip used to measure the clearance of crankshaft main bearing or connecting rod bearing in automobile maintenance. After the plastic strip is clamped in the bearing clearance, the width of the plastic strip after clamping is measured with a special measuring scale, and the number expressed on the scale is the data of the bearing clearance.
8. Spring scale
Spring scale is the use of spring deformation principle, its structure is to add a load on the hook when the spring force elongation, and indicate the scale corresponding to the elongation. Because the device that detects the load uses a spring, the measurement error is easy to be affected by thermal expansion, so the accuracy is not very high. In automobile maintenance, the spring scale is often used to detect the steering wheel rotation power.
